As we put God first, our lives become more attractive and colourful, possessing a unique and irresistible flavour. Each of us is a work in progress, people not perfect, yet we’re determined to grow in God’s ways, living lives that are authentic and reflect His goodness.

Equippers exists to create an environment where young and old of every culture can easily connect and discover the purpose of their existence. We value the different cultures that make up our community, however we also believe in the importance in having the same spirit in all our expressions. We encourage everyone to put the culture of the Kingdom ahead of their own cultural expectations, as we become united in the same purpose, the cause of Christ.

We believe that the Bible is inspired by God – that it is accurate authoritative and applicable to every part of our lives. Our desire is to communicate the message of God’s word without compromise in a relevant, life-giving way.

The Local Church

“The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which He speaks and acts, by which He fills everything with His presence.” - Ephesians 1:23 [Message Version]

We believe that the local church is God’s plan for accomplishing His mission. Belonging to a local church is a vital reference point in the Christian life and is a key to our growth and our ability to impact our world for Christ. We are created to belong – not just believe. And when we choose to follow Christ, we become part of His body – the church.

We believe that church membership is a matter of the heart. Equippers Church is a family, a place where people are discipled, planted and can flourish as they commit to doing life together. While church membership is not a formal agreement, we encourage people to attend classes which are specifically designed to explain and outwork the mission of God and our vision as a local church.
